Magellan’s Grade Level Goals

• International Explorations in the Ninth & Tenth Grade:
Students will apply critical paradigms in their understanding and appreciation for the similarities and differences among people of the global community by using literature and historical artifacts to analyze the culture, values, and dilemmas of communities throughout the world.

• National Explorations in the Eleventh Grade:
Students will identify and analyze the cultural archetypes, myths and legends of American society by exploring their cultural and anthropological foundations.

• Local Explorations in the Twelfth Grade:
Students will affirm democratic and pluralistic values by analyzing critical issues within their community using comprehensive social science methodologies and initiating proactive social projects.
