9th GRADE
Freshmen in Rembrandt will take three classes together: English, Science, and Art History. There are two tracks in English, College-Prep and Honors, and two in science, Biology and Earth Science. All students take the Art History class, which is team-taught and includes hands-on art projects as well as as thorough course in the history of art. Students will also be taught digital video editing, and will do several movie projects during the year. They will also get guest lectures by the other arts teachers: drama, dance, music, and ceramics, so that in in their second year they can pursue one or more of these disciplines.
10th GRADE
Rembrandt sophomores this coming year will take history and English classes together, and will be encouraged to take some arts class, whether it is advanced art, ceramics, drama, music, or dance. Future 10th graders will have further options.
